TechDC Rates & Policies Fee Schedule: My rates are based on my qualifications and the times the service is provided. Each portion of an hour will be billed to the full hour. The first hour fee pays for a short discussion of requested and suggested services, some preparation time, travel (up to 20 miles, round trip), one half-hour of service, and scheduling and accounting costs.
Charges for any additional preparation will be discussed prior to delivery of service. "Last minute" requests are those that are requested less than 12 hours prior to the assignment. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 9-5. All last minute or outside of business hours service will be provided at the "First Hour" rate. Service hours that are both last minute and outside of business hours will be provided at twice the rate for normal hours. Adjusted Assignment Times: Each portion of an hour will be billed to the full hour. Retainer: Hours can be purchased a month in advance for business hours (not last minute) service at discounted rates. These hours are not transferable. Travel: This charge pays for the gas and time spent traveling to and from an assignment. Areas are determined by the number of miles traveled round trip. Local area travel is included in the hourly rate. Regional area travel is charged per mile. Anything outside the regional area must be negotiated prior to delivery of service. Last minute requests for service are billed from the moment I leave until the moment I return, door to door. Any tolls or parking fees will be additional.
Cancellation: All cancellations must be earlier than 24 hours before the requested service time. All cancellations later than 24 hours before the requested service time will be charged a first hour fee and current regional area, last minute, or agreed upon travel charges.
